We’re looking for Wales’ Best Garden Gnome 2023.
Swansea City Opera’s new opera Shoulder to Shoulder, developed with Men’s Sheds Cymru was a huge hit with audiences in 2022.
Mr Gnome – an ordinary garden gnome – was a member of the cast.
He stole the show.

To coincide with our November 2023 tour of Shoulder to Shoulder, together with Men’s Sheds Cymru, we’re launching a competition to find Wales’ Best Garden Gnome 2023.
Simply send a photograph of your garden gnome, his/her name, and where they live to – enquiries@swanseacityopera.com
Closing date: Sunday 5 November.
During rehearsals, the cast of Shoulder to Shoulder will take a break from singing and pick the winner.
The lucky winner will receive a pair of tickets for a performance of Shoulder To Shoulder at a venue of their choice.
We’ll celebrate Mr or Ms Gnome on social media and your gnome will enjoy fame (and, hopefully, fortune)…
